ROOPA LAKSHMI




Roopa Lakshmi (RLAKSHMI) is an Indian artist living in Bangalore, India. She is primarily a self-taught artist who has been privileged to have trained under renowned artists like John Bryant, Lassie Corbett in the Washington DC area and also with Sudhir Meher from Bangalore.

Roopa enjoys working with all media, but has a passion for water colors. She enjoys working on themes that portray the glory of Indian culture and heritage including temples, sculptures and people.

Her works are in private collections in USA and India. She has participated in the “Paint for Justice” exhibition as one of the 10 artists from Karnataka on behalf of the Nijh World Society. As part of this group show, her work has been displayed at the AIFACS gallery and India Habitat Center in New Delhi.
