SUMANGALA .K.P


 K. P. Sumangala was born at Azhiyoor-Calicut District, Kerala as the daughter of Shri. K.P.Kunhiraman Vidyar and Smt. P.P.Kausalya and was well known as an artist in her childhood days. Though was very much fascinated about drawing, along with it, she studied a little Traditional Treatment too. Since her father well known as Ayurveda and Homeopathic physician and belonged to a family famous for Traditional Treatment. during this period she learned preparation of some medicines
GraduallySumangala shifted her  profession from medicine to drawing. Her passion is being a drawing teacher than artist so she joined as a drawing teacher for a reputed school at Kannur.

Progressively, she developed her own style in art. "ANAHATHA" is the mini art gallery of her creations was born by continuous request from her well-wishers and students. In addition to all these, she is a beautician by profession. Apart from this, she has also undergone a training provided by K I T Co.

Apart from these, she has partaken in various camps and group exhibitions including the All India Chitrakala Parishath conducted at Bangalore. Being an active member of the Kerala Chitrakala Parishath and Lalithakala Academy she has participated in various camps and given her modest contributions.
Her works have been published in various leading newspapers and magazines including Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Vanitha, Deshabhimani, many foreign Malayalam dailies and telecasted in indiavision:-a malayalam satelite channel, and will be telecaste in Asianet, SuryaTV, Kairali TV etc., 2 Volumes of Aksharamaala Free Hand Designing [using Malayalam akshramaala]and Numbers Free Hand designing [using digits from 1 to 100] books are also available in the mark
